We generally inhale and exhale without thought; it just flows! Like a balloon, our lungs inflate when we inhale and deflate when we exhale. We, however, adjust our breathing when we speak, sing, walk, run, swim, or participate in any activity that stretches our lung capacity!
Much like breathing, our life experiences are designed to work the same! We are designed to embrace things (inhale) and release things (exhale) without thought. And also, adjust the way we embrace and release things depending on the context of our circumstances. But sometimes we get stuck focusing on things that simply do not work!
How do we adjust the focus and get back in the flow?
First, it is important to realize that we are all spirit beings and everything is a spiritual alignment! Therefore, what you focus on is what you are aligned with and so you'll create and attract things to your life from that focus! If you are focused on things that do not work and do not bring you peace, you will create more of things that do not work and do not bring you peace! When you begin to be conscious of what you're focusing on, then you can reframe and refocus until you are clear on what works! Trust that what works will resonate and will get you back in the flow!
This is similar to being conscious of your breathing when you want to relax. Shallow breaths do not work. It is in becoming conscious of more deeper breaths that will guide you into relaxation...and that's what works!
